Terms and Conditions

1. Who can use DressForThis

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. If you enable email based multi factor authentication, you are responsible for maintaining access to the email address on your account.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date.

2. What DressForThis does

DressForThis helps you catalogue your wardrobe, build outfits, and receive AI generated styling suggestions and virtual try on previews. Styling outputs are suggestions only. They are produced by automated systems and may be imperfect, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given occasion.

You remain responsible for your own choices. We do not guarantee that any suggestion, outfit, or try on preview will be accurate, appropriate, or fit for any particular purpose.

3. Your content

You may upload photographs of yourself and your clothing, along with preferences and other information ("Your Content"). You keep all rights you already have in Your Content.

You grant us a limited, non exclusive licence to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including sending it to our AI providers to generate styling and try on results. We do not sell Your Content.

You must have the right to upload Your Content, and it must not infringe anyone else's rights or contain unlawful, harmful, or offensive material.

4. Plans, credits and payment

The Service offers a free tier and paid plans (currently Unlimited Monthly at GBP 6.99 per month and Unlimited Annual at GBP 34.99 for the year), plus optional Stylist Credit top ups. Prices are shown in the Service and may change on notice for future billing periods.

Digital purchases in the App, including the installed PWA, use Apple App Store or Google Play billing. The marketing website may offer direct Stripe payment where permitted. Any physical goods or real world services are processed by Stripe on every platform.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Where a purchase is made through Apple or Google, refunds and cancellations are also subject to their respective store policies.

Stylist Credits are a virtual in Service allowance for text styling actions. Visualisation Credits are a virtual in Service allowance for image actions. They have no cash value, are non transferable, and, except where the law requires otherwise, are non refundable once used.

5. Your right to cancel (consumers)

As a consumer you may have a statutory right to cancel a purchase within 14 days. Because the Service provides digital content and services immediately, by starting to use a paid plan or credits you acknowledge that provision begins at once and you may lose the 14 day cancellation right to the extent the service has been supplied.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular you must not:

• attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service other than your own data;
• upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that depicts a person without their consent;
• use the Service to build a competing dataset or product, or resell access;
• interfere with the security or normal operation of the Service.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may change these Terms. If we make a material change we will give reasonable notice through the Service or by email.

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, the Service is provided on an "as is" basis, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you in any 12 month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period or GBP 100.

9. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time from within the Service or by contacting us at info@dressforthis.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms. On closure we will delete or anonymise your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, except where we must keep certain records by law.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
